Container Pop-Up

TAKING TECH ON THE ROAD

Best Buy approached the Chandler design team with a challenge. To create multiple pop-up shop identities for Best Buy’s traveling shipping container brand store. This little store made the rounds everywhere from multiple Super Bowls to smart home tradeshows.

Brief

My focus was on bringing the individual store identity of each activation to life while also maintaining a brand presence of Best Buy itself. Multiple factors had to be considered including modularity, portability and most of all, eye catching visuals that could help Best Buy stand out.

Strategy

Despite the store having a relatively small footprint at each event the deliverables varied greatly. The biggest element was always the container wrap graphic but several other small things were conceptualized like social media activations, environmental signage, product cards and coupon books.
